This work is currently on-going. Nora’s PhD-student Cassandra Pruetz is cataloguing scribal variation on inscribed stones across time and object. For the near future, a workshop with the sculptor and letter-carver Séighean Ó Draoi is planned.

In 2023, Nora’s research was awarded a @researchireland.ie Pathway Grant for ‘Early Medieval Irish Script on Screen’ to study the transition from ogam to Latin alphabet writing.
