The Kennedys would probably be happy to see Jack's name removed as long as Trump's is there.

Build a new Kennedy Center and let Donnie have that thing as his little toy. For a while. Then, knock it down once he's out of office. Or, better yet, turn it into an immigrant welcoming center.

It will be pretty soon. Thoughtful news consumers will ignore CBS and its slanted concept of news as they now do with Faux "News."
December 24, 2025 at 6:58 PM
Why doesn't "CBS News" be honest about it and rebrand itself as "Trump News?"

Rivers was terrific tonight. Without a running game for support, he passed for almost 300 yards and kept them in the game right up until the final minutes.

If those are the Fox poll numbers, the actual numbers are probably double that.

The economy slowing, with non-IA GDP coming down and unemployment going up, would account for the inflation rate moderating.

Given the lengths to which DOJ is going to keep anything incriminating about Trump away from the public, it makes one wonder if he isn't guilty of something even worse than that: like statutory rape.
December 20, 2025 at 6:03 PM
Except that tRump has downsized his original proposal. He first said that he would cut drug prices by 1000%. Apparently, he thinks that cutting it by 40% makes it seem more achievable.

And given the composition of that district, there's a very good chance that you will be replacing her with a Republican. Now wouldn't that be a great outcome!

Think of all the people whose livers were upended merely because they said that they weren't unhappy about Charlie Kirk's murder or who just accurately posted Kirk quotes.

If those people did something wrong, Trump's post should produce the same result. He should be forced to resign.
December 15, 2025 at 6:47 PM
Trump is intimating that, at least indirectly, he had a hand in the killing of the Reiners. Maybe we should take him at his word(s) and prosecute him as an accessory to murder.

Agree with the first part. But we get the government we deserve. The USA is like a sports team that took its greatness for granted for too long and fell into mediocrity. We will "deserve" better when too large a part of the country works to better itself instead of keeping others down.
December 15, 2025 at 6:28 PM
And he will do that to foul up the Dems, just as he did for years as a senator.

Tyler Rogers playing ... where else ... at the Rogers Center. How appropriate.
December 13, 2025 at 6:52 PM
Wait until Donnie installs his lackey as the new Fed Chair. The level of disagreement over rate hikes/cuts and other policy issues will skyrocket.
December 11, 2025 at 6:43 PM
This reminds me of the time years ago when the TBS sports announcers were told to use the word "international" instead of "foreign." One of the Atlanta Braves' players had to step out of the batter's box. Skip Caray remarked, "He had to remove an international particle from his eye."

As that great sage, H. L. Mencken, once remarked, "Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public."
December 10, 2025 at 7:04 PM
How can there be an affordability crisis if, according to Trump. "affordability" is a hoax? Something that doesn't exist can't be a problem, can it?
December 10, 2025 at 6:41 PM
Also, remember that the Warriors had that happen with both Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson.
December 8, 2025 at 5:45 AM
It's going to get even easier for the Bulls on Sunday. They will be playing a Warriors team without Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler, and Draymond Green.

SAS was on Hannity? What a bonanza for so many of us, who were able to miss TWO of the most annoying people in America at the same time.
December 5, 2025 at 3:52 AM
Donnie had better be careful with that. If he can reverse Biden's pardons, the next Dem POTUS can reverse his. And Trump's are much more controversial.
December 4, 2025 at 8:15 PM
The lesson here seems to be that if one is going to be corrupt, be corrupt on a grand scale. By the time Trump's administration is over, it will be almost impossible to total up the dollar value of the grift and the graft.

Generally agree. But go to 17 -- each case heard by 9 chosen at random, as part of a larger reform of the court system that would increase the number of circuits to 16 by dividing the 9th into three and the 5th into two. One Justice per circuit, rotating each term. Chief Justice only administers.

That was mild compared with the cross check Petterson laid on Celebrini earlier just as the Sharks were about to go on a power play. Tit for tat.
