This is a giant #sequoia, also known as the Sierra Redwood, found at Cataract Gorge Reserve. Giant sequoias are the world’s largest trees by volume and also among the oldest living things on Earth. can grow to 85 metres tall and 6 to 9 metres in diameter. Can live to 3,000 yrs, oldest 3,500 yrs.

These are Galahs or less commonly known as the pink and great cockatoo or rose-breasted cockatoo. Can you tell which one is the female and which one is the male? The female has pink to red eyes and the male has dark brown eyes. In this case the female is on the left and the male on the right.
