It also shifts responsibility away from Trump. His "good relationship" with Putin is worthless, does not render any result. And he does not blame him either. Because of reasons.

Why is Machado even doing that? Trump threw her under his bus already & did again afterwards. What was she hoping for to get for Venezuela doing that? It is already evident that Trump prefers the Maduro regime over any democracy in Venezuela for his purposes. Just a stupid move devaluing the price.

That is the plan and goal of ICE anyway, to invoke the insurrection act and call for martial law. This then gives Trump and his goons unlimited power over the country. Its all about that.

Trump always siding with other regimes. Why? He is weak, only strong mouthed but a chicken in actions. Siding with Putin on Ukraine, "believing" the Iranian mullahs. He wants to seem strong by siding with them. Enabling them by it.

Trump gets no profit off a military installation. But he gets off a profit from allowing US corporations use the annected land. When trying to understand Trumps motivations one needs to think about what Trump may get out of it.

The Trump principle: Bully, threaten, extort. More threatening until the other side comes to him and courts him. Goes into "negotiations" with him. From his perspective his behaviour works. No need to change it. He gets something he did not have before, people beinding to him. Very russian style.

According to science on dementia patients the slurping is a sign of frontal lobe dementia. With the loss of the automatic swallow response, this behavior is involuntary & a direct result of the neurological changes. Also losing the ability to restrain your actions is another symptom.
