I think that was true last year as well. I seem to recall not even having budget goals listed

I am thankful Lake Street Station has a refurbish slated for next year as part of Renew the Blue. It's very needed. Franklin Ave station has a pending project as well.

Still haven’t heard back about my complaint to MN DFL about being barred from entry because I didn’t have a car to put my backpack in

I saw Stinson was an unplowed segment before the map reset. It's very frustrating!

Sadly this isn’t new. For several years I have flagged this section that gets missed and it always takes at least a week to get cleared. Sometimes I get gaslit that it’s actually been cleared because the crew marks it off as complete in the system. I send the pictures and once even got an apology

I am exhausted already by 311/MPRB requests not resulting in cleared sidewalks going on a week after a snowfall. An advisory is great and all but it doesn’t fix the issue for people using it NOW

Right now it seems to be framed by some as making sure seniors don’t get fined for not shoveling when the focus should be on people needing to use sidewalks for basic mobility

Frequent issues near me include plowed up snow at corners (city service but long time to complete), Park Board sidewalks (late or even never done), and unshoveled bus stops with ambiguity over who is responsible

We need programs (and program changes) to address it all

Thank you for the correction and referencing someone with deeper knowledge on this

Our building has our grit out and ready to go. Thankfully we haven't had ice accumulate yet. But it's shocking how many places have ridges or those piles of salt (esp the tinted stuff)! It doesn't even work like that?

Safe travel around our city is currently on city public works for roads and private property owners for sidewalks.

It's a complaint-based system in Mpls so if you don't say anything about an unshoveled sidewalk, it's possible that sidewalk will go all winter like that

Gonna get right on that!

I did enjoy the mature 'I got called out, so I'm just going to block' approach though

I was curious what this was even about. Ope it's someone ignorantly going after a nonprofit board I serve on 🫠

Thank you for the correction. I hadn't caught the wrong organizational unit named above.

This was a MN DFL event held in Minneapolis
