Jonathan Foley: Our descendants will be paying out trillion$ for DACs/CCS, not because they deliver some cheap energy service, but to avoid baked-in catastrophic disasters. Jonathan Foley: Excellent visuals backing up your succinct points. Whenever I talk about this urgent time sense to avert lost opportunities, I point out that failing to capture that 79% the first decade ends up as a cumulative carbon debt burdening descents to pay the price of many trillion$.
