The tail is drawn weird because in my process I draw the figure first and the diaper second so the tail was drawn initially too low for the tail hold.

For diapers, you only need to know one of the fifteen cloth folding types: tension folds

Which, you guess it! Are just stretched cylinders~

Pro tip: if you want more realistic diapers just add more tiny cylinders
