If he moves upstairs, surely he’d have a stronger right to veto?!

Aznou is the other interesting one. A low risk gamble for someone with promise. 30 mins of extra time as a left winger and he’s the new Leighton Baines. The moans that Moyes signed him and won’t play him are very tiring!

Ah finally a sensible discussion on the topic! Moyes may well have “signed off” some of the younger players but like you said, seeing potential is very different from having them ready for the PL. He may never benefit but hopefully the club does.

Can’t wait, really enjoy these articles. I hope there are a few full backs who we have watched over the last few months, whose names can be regurgitated on the forums under the ‘The Club had a deal in place but Moyes said no’.

Or shoehorn Patto out?

Dwight left back then?

Probably some kids out on loan or permanent

Patto and Gardener going to be vital for the marketing then 😝

Totally agree! Supporting a club where handshakes and “99.9999% certain” have come to nothing means that even if a manager gives a glimmer of hope, it still ain’t done until the scarf is on! Thanks Giulia

Bring us positive news on full backs and a striker and we will put you forward for the Honours List 💙

And the start of one if he keeps playing like that

Merry Christmas, Paddy. Thanks for being so informative and engaging on the blues

Agreed on that but it’s clear that he doesn’t trust most of the subs. Huge rebuilding effort was about bringing in competitive players for first team then adding depth. Part of the first element has worked so far

And play who? JOB centre back, Charley at 10, McNeil and Dibbling wide with Tim holding and Patto at right back? At Chelsea…
Probably would makes sense given the easy banker next weekend.

We play 1 game per week and 4 outfield subs on the bench last week who had any level of fitness/experience…
