I’m in America and it doesn’t make sense, the same thing recently happened in my city to a bakery employee with legal status (he was fortunately released after much outcry)

If it had been “Bars” renamed to “Drinking Establishments” it would have made more sense to me but “Nightclubs” encompasses a lot more than drinking, even if limiting to things being consumed 😎
