Playing around with alternative face coverings.

This cloth wrap has loads of texture and versatility and I think it will start making an appearance at my future drawing sessions. It lacks the signature contrast of my mask, but I'm okay with that.

I'm sad to have missed focus on so many otherwise lovely shots due to my rangefinder issues, but the few that did turn out are so lovely. And even some of the "bad" ones have a soft & dreamy feel, so it worked out.

I was struggling with a misaligned rangefinder, but still managed to get some sharp shots in addition to some that feel dreamy & soft, even if unintentional.

The hotel I stayed at last week had a rather nice shower and I felt the need to use it as a backdrop.

I almost wish I had brought a proper camera, but a cell phone works just fine with the right light.

But generally, I prefer single image posts.

We were shooting in a very confined space, but we made it work. I brought one small LED on a tripod and the rest of the light was natural.

One of my biggest takeaways from this shoot was to protect photos as soon as they're taken. They all ended up badly scratched making scanning difficult.
