The barrier for entry for driving is huge. When I was a teen in a tiny-town my only option for a future escape was to take driving lessons all summer with a scary retired boxer old man. When I got to college and I could just get on a bus and read a book. Heaven!

not the garbage bag turkey!

With dry rub, we always set the dry-rubbed bird/meat on a baking sheet + wire rack to chill in the fridge overnight, no covering. The salt gets through the meat through osmosis and the skin dries a little so it crisps up in the oven. Spatchcock preferred

And lastly, I don't recommend any humidifier that gets hot, like the ones they sell at the pharmacy and advertise to sick people. Not for consistent use anyway. They need constant maintenance, break when neglected, and are often very difficult to clean!

My adhd ass tried one (aircare mini console), and it worked so well it was out-of-sight/mind. I let it run dry then the filters got all gross anyway. I need the visual reminders (vapor and fish). Fortunately with evap-type they don't break when neglected, they just need cleaning.

For whole home humidification, like for a large house, evaporative humidifiers are most efficient. In this tech connections video, they discuss how this is the best solution *for them*. With some chemical stuff they squirt in to keep the filters from getting moldy. www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHee...

Ah, in that case, the cool-mist type may not be the best choice. Those create droplets are too large to circulate through the whole house, so multiple units are needed. We get by ok having one in the living room and bedroom (with on/off timers) and an aquarium (unintentional humidifier)

I have humidifier experience! Do you have any specific needs? (room size? for tropical plants? etc.) I have found the cool mist type with detachable water tank (withOUT a wick) to be easiest to clean. My favorite one seems to be sold out everywhere online, but it's been going for 5 years now!

Remastering content for HD can be foolish when it was produced with low resolution in mind. Stories aren't better with more visible pores and fewer shadows. Give me a blur or shadow to let my imagination work a little. (also pixel art made for CRT's looks worse on HDTV's.)
