I wanted to represent Seam's mental state as a Lantern surrounded by the grass of the field of "hopes and dreams". (the place where you find them in ch1) Someone constantly led to hope over and over again, a plushie repaired again and again until it no longer works So anyways, this is an oversimplification of what I believe Seam's arc is gonna be (atp idc about being wrong I just want more content of my kitty) Basically, sometimes you need to let go of ideas that used to confort you yet harm you (like weeds on a field). Even when they're not entirely wrong, like yeah, you're not real and your purpose is a big part of who you are. But that doesn't have to be ALL that you are. Burning down what you used to believe your previous ideas and hopes so, just like in nature, new ones to grow stronger than ever Think of it like a field, a renewed and full of life Field of Hopes and Dreams (in this case: to tear apart and re-stich a plushie with better stiches than before. With the help of someone that learned how to in order to help other people) Idk I'm bad at writing and communicating the amount of nuisance that exists in my brain so you'll only get drawings and stuff :p
