To be clear, I think unions are wise to take into account turnout in ballots, but that should be a matter for internal democracy not the business of the law.

I appreciate you may not think you're a troll, but when you spend your days replying rudely to anyone who says mean things about SpaceX then that's why you're on so many block lists. Even if you think it's because you're cleverer than everyone. But no, you keep missing the point and being rude.

So I haven't got anywhere with what to learn from it, other than to understand that the feeling of solidarity in a virtuous conflict is addictive and will be a factor that will keep bringing some people back to conflict. It's why the ICE agents look like they are grimly having fun.

What lessons can we learn? I don't know. Lack of confrontation makes it less fun, so while that might reduce the numbers at UK far right demos, it wouldn't reduce US ICE actions. And letting the UK far right rampage without confrontation - they would still create confrontation while spreading fear.
