Heading to the London Film Festival for the first time, get a bit of Knives Out 3 action. Any day with a new mystery film is a good day.

Oh, absolutely amazing show. Couldn't believe they managed to pull it off.

Justified enters the elite club of TV shows that ended well. Must be the magic Walton Goggins touch - this and The Shield are two of the stronger final seasons I've seen.

Give Steve a go on Netflix - great little British film, feel like it'll fly under the radar, despite starring Cillian Murphy. Small and profound!

Might just leave this paused on the TV forever.

I don't want to give my enemies the correct answer.

It was all worth it, then! (Er, I would double check all those facts.)

I love how hard Aidy Bryant sells every line in Platonic. Character could be a total dud in someone else's hands. Another great part of a quietly excellent show.

Deserved a bit more chat - should have included it in the ten.

I think calling it foul drainage is unnecessarily cruel. It's natural produce. No shame in it.

I feel like I'm getting some real karmic backlash for this obnoxiousness.

If I could have any superpower, I'd ask to be more assertive when talking to builders.

Would pass 125 Park Road trekking to Future London offices, always struck by its rounded sci-fi edges. Back in Bath, spotted the Herman Miller Factory on canalside COVID strolls. It looks like it was built from slabs of Caramac; how cool to have a little chunk of building history in our back garden.

I know naff all about architecture, but it's notable that both Terry Farrell and Nicholas Grimshaw died in the same month. Became aware of them through a brilliant BBC doc The Brits Who Built The Modern World, and felt the tiniest connection to Farrell/Grimshaw's early work.

I did not have a comedy gold Sean Penn performance on my 2025 bingo card. One of the many wild highlights of One Battle After Another. First five star film I've seen in yonks.

Nah, you did a great job (apart from losing your passport at E3 and giving me a heart attack).

I aged a million years in 2017, but the games were good.

New episode! The best games of 2017. A great year for games, but a challenging year for Matthew Castle. It's almost three hours long. Sorry!

A much more successful version of what The Plucky Squire later did, I thought.

That Chronoscript trailer looked great - Deskworks previous (similar) game RPG Time: The Legend of Wright is a proper underrated gem. One of the, like, five videogames that is actually funny.

I was randomly served Jesse James Bolero a few weeks ago and became immediately obsessed.

Second case of the final Rise of the Golden Idol DLC is brilliant - a detective love letter to one of the best to ever do it.
