i dont know how to switch between windows and linux binaries. im using the native steam app and clicking install on the demo page, and the download instantly completes. when clicking play it says

still not working for me on an arch desktop. ive cleared steams cache, tried both the dedicated demo page and the demo link on the main steam page, and both of them have the download complete instantly and complain about a missing executable. ive never seen steam do this before LMFAO

there was another person saying as such on the steam forums from a few hours ago, they were on steamdeck (im linux desktop). i use the vancouver DC for what its worth... cant say i know what to do or say either. ill see if anything changes tomorrow perhaps!

its bugged on linux/steamdeck unfortunately--it doesnt download anything and just says the executable is missing.
