So after the intensity of the last pastel painting, I decided to go a little simpler this time. Just some ink and watercolor. It's not often I have clothes in my paintings, so the shirt was a little tricky, but I think it turned out okay.

Back to my handsome and friendly Cuban friend this time. I thought he deserved a more intensive artistic treatment, so this time is a pastel version of a picture he was kind enough to share.

I was quite happy with the way the body turned out this time. I love the shadows and the changes in tone.

Just a quick experiment with a Skin Tones (set of 6) of ShinHan Touch markers that I picked up in Asia. Not too bad for only a minimal number of tones!

Yes, it's been a long time! 😆 but there was four weeks in Asia (Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam) and the subsequent jet lag (which persists 😝).
