Garden of Delete: Damn, I sometimes forget that OPN is just an alien who makes otherworldly masterpieces, this album is insane. Somehow feels like a metal and hyperpop style Replica or R Plus Seven. Definitely one of his best. Will try to listen to some of his other stuff that I haven't already since he's dropping a new LP soon and I'm pretty excited about it. Hopefully I wont miss it like I did with 40% of 2025 albums I wanted to check out but still haven't. Heaven knows: Most complete sounding project of hers, makes sense since this is a formal debut studio LP, while her mixtapes are very fun too this is probably her best project imo. She makes incredibly, catchy pop with creative dnb and garage influences. OASYS: Cat System Corp is one of those classic names of vaporwave, but I haven't heard that much from him, I did recognize the cover of this one, remember it popping up on my YT recommended videos years ago. Has a pretty, aquatic sound. Jungle: Another of his albums, under a different alias, now a new age ambient album, very serene, entrancing and well made. OYS: Heard that's a big and important rock band in China, found some translated lyrics and they also seem very interesting and well written, music's nice and creative too. They made another LP a decade later that I'd like to check out at some point. Great stuff! Power In That Which Compels You: Another OPN project, some collab with a free jazz artist, it's not really that good tbh and OPN feels barely involved but I saw a comedic review on RateYourMusic that made my day and makes the album way better than it actually is. This is goose final boss music. After the Night: Parannoul's one of my all time fav artists and every time I listen to him I love him even more. This is one of the best live LPs I know of, the performances of the first already great tracks are still stellar but anyone who knows of this LP knows what the deal is, the 10min long Into the Endless Night extended to 46min epic. This seriously is one of the greatest songs of all time, keeps growing on me more and more, idk if it will ever dethrone Pink Floyd's Shine On You Crazy Diamond, but it still is such a moving journey, man I was literally sweating relistening to it and thinking about it at midnight while my body was vibrating, it's insane what music can do to you. It is a live LP but it's in my top 10 fav records of all time STATE'S END: I mean all GY!BE's stuff are basically masterpieces but I forgot how phenomenal this one is, grew on me so much, my top 2 GY!BE still are LYSF and F#A# but nowadays my 3 is NO TITLE and now this one is 4. It feels like THE GY!BE LP combining elements of all their eras Nujabes: Both are beautiful and make my day SAW85-92: Alien music DoFP: Sounds like a golden era Disney classic, magical Replica: More alien music LT: Still probably the weakest GY!BE LP but still incredible, also grew on me more Those Who Tell the Truth: Their darkest sounding LP while still retaining rays of hope, wish they had more dynamic LPs like this but all EITS are good, this is one of their best FiP: Had a random itch for this, love HOME, really nostalgic nowadays for me Pink: Crazy noise rock, love the slower stuff Signalis: I know the game, haven't played it, but the Memory OSTs are great R35TT: We really don't know how versetile BoC actually are and what they're capable of Flume: Way better than I remember, grew on me a lot, the song Insane lives up to its name Monument: A transitional LP for them, I like the direction they went with and they got better with the new LP Someone Close: Solid house EP, dig it

freeform jazz: If you take a look at my profile's topsters you'll probably think I listen to way too much music, looking at my catalogue where I keep track of everything I listen to on RateYourMusic I've listened to well over 2,5k releases. You might be thinking "Don't you get burnt out?" Yes, yes I do and then I can't really enjoy music as much as I normally do. This gets fixed after a break or trying something new. Well, for some reason this LP fixed my listener's block and it felt like how it was when I first fell in love w/ music. It's so simple, it's just a jazzy instrumental hip-hop LP you'd probably put as bg music but it's so excellently crafted and it just came at the right moment I guess to really hit and it felt so beautiful it genuinely made me tear up a bit around the end. I think it's an incredible album, I really really loved it! Amor Amarillo: Bocanada is one of my all time fav LPs, have heard some of Soda Stereo too, Gustavo Cerati's really great! Mammal Hands: I think a lot of people tend to focus on older jazz so I checked out a couple more modern releases. I'm no jazz expert but I think this band's really great. Shadow Work especially got some amazing songs. Tri Repetae: It's been a while since I put on some Ae, love IDM, early Ae have a brighter sound that I really like. Black Focus: Another modern jazz album, this one's pretty funky Games: Didn't know OPN was involved on this, no wonder I really liked it! Luxury Problems: Randomly listened to Faith in Strangers sometime last year and loved it, heard by some this is his best, still prefer that other one but that's great too. Andy Stott gives me Burial vibes for some reason. Dream Select: Knew about this artist, he knows how to make some Y2K style AtmoDnB chiptek: heard of this artist before, they got a bunch of short electronic albums, something abt the cover art pisses me off but music's good full body 2: really unique shoegaze NewJeans: Idk why I listened to them but they're okay, not crazy Meddle: The very first album I ever listened to, or at least the first one I got to choose when I started my music journey. It's the one that immediately made me fall in love with music, with Pink Floyd and with progressive rock. Back then my early teens brain could not fathom the existence of a song that's over 20 minutes long, Echoes completely blew my mind and still does to this day, it's one of my all time fav songs and the LP as a whole is too one of my most favs, still holds up the same. Idc how you guys meme on Seamus (that's the dog) even that song's cool TEINACDP: While I was aware of post-rock before that point, I got into the genre a bit later with GY!BE and other more advanced bands that are praised by circles like RYM who claim they love post-rock but if you show them an album like this they frown upon it. However, almost all post-rock fans outside of the RYM echochamber will tell you EITS are titans of the genre. They are seemingly much simpler than a band like GY!BE but that does not mean they don't carry the same amount of emotional punch. When I was first getting into EITS this was the one that immediately clicked and adored it and relistening to it again made me love it even more. It is incredible! Yanqui: Speaking of GY!BE, probably my #1 fav band I think all their stuff are phenomenal too. This one kinda slightly dropped because it's one of their more monotonously mournful sounding records so I discovered I need to be in the right mood but it still is incredibly powerful obviously and I adore it mbv: One of the dreamiest LPs out there Untrue: Rarely read stuff but I'm occasionally reading a manga called BLAME! and Burial fits so well with it, try this combo if you like Amber: Again, love early Ae Autobahn: One of the most important albums ever made, still holds up incredibly well imo Elaenia: Forgot how good this is, and how jazzy it gets, FP is incredible RDJ: Shows how versetile he is Slowdive: Some of hte most epic shoegaze No more text left

Second Sky: Only listening to this now because I rarely listen to live LPs. Nurture is probably my most fav LP ever and my love for Porter grows every day so of course I adored it. You can tell everyone was having fun here, the appeal of live LPs I'd say is this, to hear the crowd scream and sing along, there's even bits that only the superfans would catch like the significance of Mike Wazowski (wow, what a sentence). The off-singing on the first few tracks, either due to mic error or Porter being stressed wasn't annoying somehow, seeing how he gasps to makes it funny and with how it gets fixed soon somehow makes me connect it with the themes of the album. This version of Shelter was amazing and Wind Tempos here is one of his best songs and one of the best songs I've ever heard. I wasted a lot of txt here Tired Sounds: An album I wanted to listen to for a long time, perfect ambiance Talking Book: It's Stevie Wonder man, I don't have to say anything angry noises: I've wanted to check this band out for a while, finally did and WOW Dead Cities: another LP I wanted to check out for a long time, really great Nordwrong: It took me by surprise how its greatness goes beyond the boundaries of vaporwave Floor-122: One of his best albums and one of the best of the dreampunk genre HISNBY: Can this guy miss? ITCMOE: Even his older works are really great SM&NS: Can't believe it took me 15 yrs to listen to the full thing, one of the most important electronic releases of the 2010s Ruins: Grouper is magical Uchu Nekoko: Sweet CNY: Iglooghost's special 1989: I'm neutral to her, neither love her, nor hate her, she ain't for me and she can be hit or miss but its got some nice songs Flash: Wasn't expecting him to come back, another alias too, similar to his previous LP but I think it doesn't always hit as much. ( ): Completely forgot how stunning this album is, I've listened to this and the other 2 big ones along with their latest one, need to check out their rest and I think they'll become one of my most fav artists. Long Season: It's been a while since I've listened to this, it's really wonderful and one of my most fav LPs too, the studio version while 10 mins shorter (but still 35 mins) has some extra details that couldn't be achieved by the live version so I personally think they're kinda equal. Hybrid Theory: If anyone tells you the first two Linkin Park LPs aren't classics they're lying. I'm sure if I got into these albums a little earlier than I did I'd love them way more, but the lyrics and pain in the vocals reflect some dark moments of my life. Can't believe some consider the lyrics "cringe", couldn't be more genuine considering what happened to Chester, if anything, it was a call for help PSR&T and Sounds of Silence: I really love Simon & Garfunkel, all their albums are amazing, despite this only their last one manages to appear in my top 100, but it is in my top 5 in fact 0 and qp: Checked out the lyrics for them too now, enhanced my enjoyment Kind of Blue: Wasn't planning for this relisten, but it just happened that I wanted to all of a sudden DotNY: Incredible split LP, all of them are doing their best (though I'm obviously biased to Parannoul) OTFAT: Not lying, so fire it burned my PSU and had to get a new one FSV: Somehow both ahead of its time and very much of its time, it gets me back to different times, feels very frutiger aero Deepfall: Don't remember how I found it but it is a very chill inducing listen Hemispheres: Used to really like Rush, I don't listen to them that much now but they're still incredible Uneven Compromise: More hip-hop should be like this The first machine: He's the signalwave king LP!: I'm very mixed with JPEGMAFIA, he's creative but I feel not all his experiments are successes, those who are are boundary pushing though

Albums I listened to this week, first listens and relistens, from most to least favorite. My thoughts on alt text.
Kagayaki: I've been wanting to listen to this one for a very long time, at some point in the past I tried to listen to it but only got 2 tracks deep, it's a long album, about 2 hours long. But now that I listened to it in its entirety I really love it and it will probably have a spot somewhere on my all time fav records list. It's beautiful and blissful. No wonder I love it since apparently it inspired probably my -as of this year's relistens- all time fav album Nurture by Porter Robinson. M83: Another one I've wanted to listen to since forever. Really love its vibe though I think I didn't love it as much as I could because I was feeling quite tired the day I listened to it, should relisten to it at some point. Ommadawn: He manages to create some very impressive atmospheres. Uma: Wow, these guys are pretty great, I should check out more of their stuff. to hell with it: Short mixtape of fun pop music with very interesting production and influences. Forget: One of those standout future funk records, sounds pretty different from your average future funk release, seems more Bloghouse inspired and I sense a hint of Justice here too. TCH: I swear, one of these days it will become my favorite BoC LP, such an incredible and relaxing vibe. MYT: The last of the main Mogwai LPs I listened to in my recent marathon and one of those albums I've been wanting to listen to for a long time. Still love it, believe it has solidified its place in my all time favs, though I want to check if I still prefer Happy Songs for Happy People over it. But yeah, incredible album, Mogwai Fear Satan is one of the greatest post-rock songs ever. Mahoroboshiya: Her second best imo, right behind Windswept Adan. Feels like being in a forest at night during autumn and just relaxing. Also found translated lyrics, but apparently all her lyrics have always been pretty abstract and vague so maybe it doesn't change things that much, it's up to how we feel about her music, what it means to us I guess. KKB: Simple but really fun. Yesterday I noticed something, I always kinda took the cover art for granted but it somehow struck me how much of a sincere and sweet smile Sarah has here, like she could just do a quick fake one for the pose, but you can just see how much fun she and definitely the other two had making their music. Feels: Forgot how wild this album can get, used to be my fav, nowadays I prefer MPP, but it's still one of their very best. Loch Raven's atmosphere is incredible, reminds me of Kid A. HiUV: Chimeras always sounded a bit like a song I made and I made it before even knowing about Tim Hecker. Another one of his best. Electric Ladyland: Incredibly ahead of its time LC: More of the same with the other record here from her, love the concept of this, one of my most fav of '25 Orange: 3rd best Fishmans LP 45:33: Might be their best song, but the song itself is a whole album so does it also make it their best LP? Idk my fav is S/T. S&G: I love them, all their LPs are amazing Nowhere: Grew on me significantly, still prefer their 2nd. Yuki: The first betcover LP I listened to, still my fav, need to listen to more from them.

AoA: I've been wanting to listen to this for a long time, was especially hyped for it knowing it has some prog elements and having listened to the All Delighted People EP some months ago, I saw how excellent he can execute the prog elements. And yep, I really loved it, but if I want a deeper connection to it it obviously needs more time. SRR: Another one I've been meaning to listen to for a long time, knowing sftf is a GY!BE side-project. It's a very interesting listen with an incredible atmosphere. Neon Indian: His debut especially was quite ahead of its time, his sophomore is an even better improvement though. This week I'll check the 3rd and latest project. (the japanese title one, from telepath under the virtual dream plaza alias): Was thinking of going through all of the VDP releases during their 10th anniversaries since I started with the anniversary of the first release, but eventually stopped caring, it's just more and more of the same slushwave, which isn't bad, but if I force myself to listen to them it will be a chore with no enjoyment. But I heard good things for this one and yes it's really great, one of his best projects probably -not 2814 levels obviously but as far as his solo works go it is one of the best. Pelican/Mono: Wanted to listen to some more Mono since I loved the one LP I listened to by them, chose this one for its anniversary and because it was a split with another band I wanted to check out, Pelican are also great their first track here is beautiful, so is Mono's. The remix is... eh. DLETTV: Christ. was a member of Boards of Canada, one of my most fav artists, somehow never checked out his solo stuff. It does have a similar sound but I wouldn't say it has the same depth BoC has, seems that the bros were always carrying the project from the start. Still a great listen for what it is, pretty interesting too, but feels somehow more like a BoC-sounding artist than something more than this. LYSFLATH: ... I mean, I can't even find something to say about this album, it's top 3 of my all time favorites but there's just nothing that can be said to explain what an album like this makes me feel. In Rainbows: A bit similar, in fact this one is right under it, top 4. This one just feels like a very human album, it's simple but you can easily connect with it. Over time Radiohead have kinda fallen off from being really high in my all time favs, still love them but I'm no longer a teen who for whatever reason romanticises depressing and dark things anymore and prefer more uplifting music, but this one not only remained, but it rose to become my fav from them, because it's kinda their most uplifting yet most grounded to relate to people work. RiL: Every time I listen to it I forget how insane it is, feels like the world around you is getting more and more confusing until it becomes a blurry mess, at first you try to make sense of it but eventually it numbs you down. ITCOTCK: Similar feelings to Radiohead, kinda grew off of KC for being a downer, but still love them and this album is too big to miss. If I somehow had to make an unbiased list of objectively important LPs of all time, this has to be at least top 5. Virgins: Tim Hecker always takes you places, he's one of the most unique ambient artists out there. Kaleidoscope: Still my least fav from his 3 even if it does seem like an improvement from his debut, I just slightly prefer the vibes of his other two, but this is still absolutely peak dnb, he's insane, also a great guy, talked with him a bunch of times, been on bandcamp listening parties, he even follows me on RYM for some reason. "Heroes": I don't think I need to say something about this album. The Rescue: Interesting backstory, short and simple but nice.

Mogwai: Finally finished their studio album discography (excluding live albums, but I did listen to some other releases before like Ten Rapid and EP+6). At this point I believe they've become one of my most fav bands and I'd argue they're quite underrated outside of the main post-rock fanbase (since nerdier internet circles like RYM are deathly allergic to any post-rock other than GY!BE, Swans and Sigur Ros). Wasn't sure if MYT really was as great as some made it seem to be since I think their works from 00's and on are more dynamic and diverse than their 90's stuff, until I reached MFS and I immediately got it, regretting any doubts I had for this album. It's been on my list of albums I need to listen to for years and it finally paid off, though I think I prefer HSFHP over MYT, but all their albums are great, incredible band! Beach House: their S/T debut, I know them from Teen Dream and Depression Cherry, this one's a pretty different vibe, sounds a bit more minimal yet haunting, I like it, but def not as much as these other ones I've listened to so far. Yuri Gagarin: Randomly found and checked it out for its cover art which is incredible (and so are the ones for their other 2 albums), it's nothing particularly special but it's good space rock. 1983: FlyLo's debut, already shows how unique and interesting he is as a producer of wonky experimental hip hop beats, though compared to his peak, these really seem like demos and the middle drags a bit. I also listened to an absolutely terrible record that can barely even be considered an album, so much so I didn't put it on here, Me&Me's Playdough Cooked in Tea, which is making fun of Mt. Eerie's A Crow Looked At Me, a record of grief after P. Elverum lost his wife to cancer. Yeah, you can expect why this album is horrible (the parody one obviously), no idea why i listened to it, I guess it's like 4 minutes so I checked it just to give it a negative review on RYM and AOTY like everyone else. GY!BE: For "NO TITLE...", the death toll is now over double of the number on the record's title and I really have no comment on this anymore, what can be said about what's going on, but this only makes the LP even more harrowing so it hit much harder than last year. I now believe this is top 3 GY!BE and 'ALLELUJAH! follows it as 4th, both are some of my most favorite albums of all time. Kid A: Used to be my #1 OAT but as I grew to not be such a miserable person romanticising depression and darkness it has since fallen off but still considered one of my most favs ever. It's now 25, since it released in 00, though it still one of the most futuristic albums I've ever listened to. AHM: Honestly adore this album, it's one of my comfort records somehow it's always been really cozy and cute to me for some reason, also top 4 PF album imo, right under WYWH, DSOTM and Meddle. Red: Jeez, I don't remember when the last time I listened to KC was but this still hits hard, nowadays I think I appreciate it even more, still one of my favs, though lower again due to it being pretty bleak. MGMT: Kids & Electric Feel were on every summer party back in the day and are burned into my brain, only listened to the LP in full earlier this year and I still believe The Youth is top 2 MGMT songs. TnP+TOTEP: Forgot how good this was, grew on me a lot though I still prefer Civilisation and Bonito Generation over these Mydreamfever: Crazy how this guy can make side projects that are still as phenomenal as his main Parannoul works, this guy is one of my most fav artists. Also how did he know I'd kill for a Parannoul IDM project with BLR? The EAI album SITNN was out of my comfort zone since I'm kinda ignorant on Electroacoustic outside of this, Tim Hecker and Nicholas Jaar, but it hits just as much as his rest Soul Kiss: One of the best from last year and one of the best EPs I've ever listened to Skeleton: Ahead of its time classic vapor pioneer, still nothing sounds quite like it.

Mogwai: Trying to finish their discography, at least from their main LPs, still have their first 3 left, they're quickly becoming one of my most fav bands. Really love the top 2 here, might now be some of my most fav albums ever. TWDY: Finished their discography too since its short, their later stuff is a bit eeh but their first 4 albums are all incredible, especially S/T (and Young Mountain, but that's on the relistens) ACFMD: I knew I'd like it but it came at the right moment for me to hit better ITTCT: This was just their S/T EP and I really loved it, need to check out their main LPs Jorge Ben: Of course he sings about football! Kodama: Had only listened to the latest album before, I was a bit tired listening to it today but I still loved it, just know I'd enjoy it better when I'm on the right headspace Happiness: checked this out cuz Four Tet is in this band and I was not disappointed, it's great Protection: MA are trip-hop kings, what can I say Getting Killed: Knew about them for a long time but never checked them out until now with this one, another great one from this year 65dos: More ambient+IDM and creepy F#A#: Technically not exactly a relisten, I just never listened to the vinyl version of it before and decided to do it now, it already has the same atmosphere and greatness but I can't deny the extended CD version is better, that's the definitive version of the album, but it's a nice alternative version here Paraglow: I'm cheating with 2 here, 1 is this, I relistened to it last around week, same with the other one I'll mention later, but I wanted to share some thoughts here, already loved it before but I completely forgot how phenomenal it is, one of the best EPs I've ever listened to and one of my most fav records ever YWNKW: Despite what happened to the duo or the often times melancholic lyrics, it's just such a nice vibe, I love it so much Homogenic: Björk is probably the greatest genius in music history tbh Young Mountain: Relistened since I finished their discography and forgot how great it is, grew on me a lot and might have become one of my all time favs Abbey Road: The Beatles. R+7: Pretty sure OPN is an alien, the film the art is from is good too Tycho: Idc what you say, Tycho is great and the trilogy from Dive to Epoch is incredible. Still like the debut with its 2 versions Luciferean Towers: So called worst GY!BE LP clears a lot of artists best work, others would kill to have something like this be considered their weakest. Very liberating experience Endtroducing: This is the other one I cheated with here, used to love it way more, but sometime this year dropped a lot, not because I thought it wasn't that great but more so I listened to so much music that raised above it, that I prefer way more Hold: What happened to HOME? I loved this guy's stuff

EITS: Listened to the remaining Explosions in the Sky albums, very solid discography, AOASIME is nearly if not equally as good as TEINACDP (if not better). The later works are slightly different and sometimes hit or miss but still great. Zaman Zaman: Wonderful album, didn't expect to love it this much. PotS: First time listening to MONO, way better than I expected, especially the last couple of tracks are very beautiful FFE: An album I've been meaning to listen to for a while, some kinda BoC vibes, I just really like this style of IDM Earth Division EP: The more I listen to Mogwai the more I love them, plan to listen to more soon. TWDY: Listened to their debut a while back, forgot how good they are, need to check out the rest. LDK: Only listened to this and the one before it released in the same year, really fun vibe. 65dos: Had only listened to OTFAT before, forgot how insane they are, some of the best and most creative post rock bands out there, they deserve more praise. Mignonne: A more laid back city pop record ETE: Has EITS vibes but is it's own thing and it's nice TBOWYB: Been meaning to listen to them, great synthpop MDG&SS: Keep confusing My Dead Girlfriend with World End's Girlfriend, but both are great bands, same with the other one on this split LP. Versus: Post-rock with some electronics Seclusion: Randomly found it and I liked it AoA: Have to check out more artists from my country, they have a nice fusion of stoner rock and some of our regional music. Can get repetitive at times but remains interesting Origins: Feels Mogwai HSFHP inspired but still GIAA Deer Leap: Emo+post rock seems to be meant to be together, the other band of the split LP is great too and I've been meaning to check them out BFM: Can be a bit of a mixed bag but has some good footwork FPA: Another band I wanted to get into, this is good but maybe not all their experiments hit that well all the time here

EITS: Listened to more by them, TEINACDP is worth the hype, it's really beautiful I immediately loved it and it might have ended up as one of my all time fav records. The Rescue is nice too, like the backstory Sakura: Gorgeous ambient album PtP: Been waiting for Maruja's debut for a long time, they delivered, honestly arguably pioneering for post-rock TLS: Fun album to lighten your mood kyawk: another great debut LP WA: Incredible breaks album COTC: Been meaning to listen to Supertramp for a long time, great one, RIP Rick Davies Plone: love this kind of IDM albums Odesza: Great production, the guests+lyrics are hit or miss. News at 11: vaporwave classic, but it gets repetitive and tiring after a while London Juke: more good stuff from him, but he can do better Teenage Poetry: Been meaning to check it out for a long time and was looking forward to it, heard great stuff about it. Finally listened to it the other day and felt conflicted. It is powerful and I totally understand if it means something to someone, but there's so many things wrong with it, I don't have much space to explain, just read any critical review of it and you'll understand why this is a terribly unethical and pretentious album. Really disappointed and sucks because I really wanted to love it. WYWH: Can't believe this album is 50 years old, from the first moment I listened to it it blew my mind and still does to this day, there's just something about it I can't describe how I feel about it. For the longest time it was my #1 fav of all time and may still be, it's just that there was some worthy competition in recent years. SOYCD is the greatest song ever recorded. Takk: Happy 20th anniversary, forgot how beautiful this album is. Relistened to it and found translated lyrics (for the tracks that have actual lyrics and not "Vonlenska" their made up language) and it made me appreciate it more, grew on me a lot. CttE: Prog rock was the genre that got me into music, still one of my most fav genres, so of course I love Yes and this album specifically, there's something spiritual about it, it's completely out of this world. AFLP1: Feels like your last high school year's summer, where you get lost in thoughts about what happened, what didn't happen, what you're glad about, what you regret, the people you met and how they've shaped you. Reflects a specific period in my life SJ: The more I listen to AnCo, the more I get them and the more they hit KKB: Their best project prolly. When is their next album exactly? Imagine: has some duds but its worth it just for the great tracks alone. AFX: 19.09.14: Some of his best stuff, Collapse: eeh. PT: You can tell they're having fun Odesza: Nice nostalgic relic of a bygone era of electronic music 2814: it's fine but they've got better stuff.

This time there's more relistens and I listened to more stuff than I thought I would since I'm busy but it's been fun.
Those Who Tell The Truth...: EITS is undoubtedly one of the greats of post-rock, they're considered titans on the genre's pantheon by most fans, yet before this I had only listened to their debut. This is the second one I'm listening to by them, their second album, I didn't intend necessarily to go chronologically, it just happened to have an anniversary so I listened to it, but I guess I'll move on like this since their next one is considered their best by many. This one's also considered one of their best, their #1 best to some. It's darker than their debut and feels deeper too. It's incredible but I know I'll love it more with relistens. Every Country's Sun: More post-rock, this time from Mogwai, another post-rock giant and another band I've been meaning to get into for a long time and from the stuff I've listened to by them so far, they actually have potential to become one of my most fav bands in general. Another great one by them. Old Poisons feels like it comes out of nowhere but I love it, it's got a Swans vibe. Kai=Kai: Checking out even more from Hirasawa, this guy's so good. Double Infinity: Always like me some nice folk record, a great one from this year. 上​海​／​香​港: I own this on bc via a free code I got a while back, nice dreampunk ambient LP, desert sand feels warm at night is involved. Groundhog: I know PRS for a long time but only now listening to his music, great IDM stuff. Bronze Claw Iso: More like last year's LP by him that I loved, this one's great too, such a wild sound. Excursions: More people need to listen to more C418 that isn't just the Minecraft OST. This guy's got so many hidden gems. This is one of my all time fav album, amazing house/chillout record, quite a grand journey. Plantasia: One of those albums I feel everybody can love. But I personally love love love it. Wasn't feeling that well when I went to relisten to it but it immediately put a smile on my face, another one of my all time favorites. WDYW!: If and until we get a Porter Robinson x Parannoul collab (that would make me scream like a little girl and then give me a heart attack), acloudyskye will do very well. He's so good, he deserves more attention. Already loved this album but now it grew on me a lot more. It's one of those records that feels like it was made for me. Hope: One of the best concept albums ever made that never got the attention and praise it deserves. Incredible album, highly recommend if you're looking for concept albums or prog. Nala Sinephro: Knew her before she got more popular already from her debut. Both albums are some of the best modern jazz out there, love the fusion with ambient and electronics, so relaxing. Toxicity: Not the biggest metalhead, but the only music nerd friend I have is one, he recommended me to listen to it and it's one of those rare metal LPs that I truly adore. Molchat Doma: I need some more time but I think their latest album might be their best, just that Etazhi's got a special vibe. HS,I: Chill post-rock from a legendary band. Need to get more into them. AtD: One of the best PF related projects. BB0: Vaporwave classic, it's old enough to be nostalgic for nostalgic vaporwave music. AMLOR: Better than people say it is L&S: Surprise comeback that was surprisingly great, has a quite myserious aura to it for me for some reason.

EP+6: Mogwai's a band I've been meaning to check out for a long time. Earlier this summer finally checked out something from them, their '03 LP which I loved. Mogwai are turning to be one of my most fav bands, they're perfect for me fusing my favorite genres, post-rock with a few elements of electronic. This is a comp of their 3 90s EPs and it's really great stuff, I really loved it. Need to check out more from them once I find the time, plus some other artists on my list, post rock or not VLV+AROBTTH: Don't let anyone tell you the first 4 Coldplay LPs aren't classics, they are. I've known most of the songs here all my life and they still slap. Finally listened to the other 2 more acclaimed works and I loved them. Especially Viva La Vida is their best on all aspects, instrumentally, lyrically, conceptually. It's perfect imo. The companion EP is good too This Binary Universe: One of the few 10s, a youtuber I love, The Wonky Album, has given and I totally see why. Such an underrated album, phenomal BLR: Another project by Parannoul under this alias, apparently unfinished but it's already amazing. Can this guy even miss? Beach Boys: To lighten your mood Plans: Been meaning to check this band out, know Postal Service. They're both great. Timewind: Another LP I've known for years but only listening now. Love Berlin School. UNKLE: I forget how much I love trip-hop ICE-9: More Hirasawa, it's instrumental and it's wonderful DSFWAN: Both LPs are peak slushwave, his the best of this subgenre, better than telepath Deftones: They always sounded like I'd love them on paper but never clicked. This album really clicked with me for some reason, idk why, it's not that much different from their other stuff. P. Simon: Love S&G but never checked out their solo stuff, this is my first, different but I really like it. Not that much to say for the rest +txt limit, but they're good Vespertine: Idk what to say man, it's just such a heavenly album, in my top 10 favs of all time. Imaginal Disk: It's only been a year but I can tell from now that this is going to be a classic, banger after banger, great concept. When I first listened to it it took me by surprise how much I loved it, since I knew and enjoyed MagBay before but didn't expect them to drop something of this caliber. Looking forward to what they're cooking next. WWW: It's not exactly a regular album in their discography, it's kinda a remix or a live LP but regardless, it's probably their best record. It's Justice's Alive 2007, even the weaker tracks used here from their post-Cross era are on steroids. X&Y: Relistened to it since it turned 20 this year. Some could say it's the weakest of the first 4 Coldplay LPs but if you like that era of the band it's more of the same, so more music you'll like +it's got a few hints of experimentation as a warm up for their next LP I guess. It's a great album and it's very nostalgic for me.

Stuff I listened to this week, from most to least fav. Didn't manage to have any relistens this week other than for the 30th anniversary of Boards of Canada's Twoism but I'm not putting a single album topster obviously for this.
More thoughts on some of these on alt text
ADP: Considered an EP so I was just expecting a short record with nice folk songs. Instead it's 1 hour long and honestly my fav Sufjan record. I'm still missing a couple of his "essentials" and I'm especially looking forward to Age of Adz after seeing how excellent he pulled off all the prog elements on this EP. Title track and the closer are godly. JVB: Liked the duo's previous works, they're fun and goofy, just sometimes after a while they can potentially get a bit annoying (remember losing half of my braincells when I heard the jojo reference on a track off their first LP). I was looking forward to this, though I did hear they had different plans for this one. It far exceeded my expectations: the dance parts are bangers and the sad parts hit like a train, at least for me personally, maybe it came at the right moment since I too feel the absolute pain of becoming senile (being in your 20s). One of the best from this year. RMP: Got this recommended as similar to Isaac era BCNR except this imo is if Isaac was actually great vocally and lyrically (still love AFUT, but I can't deny it can be rough around the edges, but he did improve from the debut). Loved it, another one of the best from this year. Hirasawa: I've been meaning to check him out for a very long time, finally did and yep, he's incredible. Bent: They continue to impress me, why are these guys not talked about more often? M&A: One of telepath's best under any alias OBSERVATORY: Excellent record, not what I was expecting, also unexpected that vmrrobotic followed me on RYM. Drama: Probably quite underrated in their discography Drive my Car: Great film with a great OST D&W: Quirky and fun, but prefer some other stuff from them, punk is kinda a hit or miss genre for me, but it's a classic obviously, whatever's low here doesn't mean it's bad, I wouldn't bother listening to stuff I wouldn't enjoy, I just have to place some lower. Can: Extremely historically important album, but they got better.

fade: WOW! I wasn't expecting to love it this much! One of the best shoegaze albums out there! RoR2: I know the game though I've not played it, decided to check it out because the composer is Greek like I am and because from what it was described to me as, it sounded like something I'd love. And I certainly loved it. Almost too good for just a soundtrack honestly. Good to see musicians from my country that are something other than metal bands. Anyway: Anamanaguchi is a band I've known for almost all my life yet I somehow never listened to them until now (excluding their work for Scott Pilgrim stuff). Another album I didn't expect to love so much. Need to check out more from them. Midtown 120 Blues: There's that one guy I follow who has this as his pfp. Been meaning to listen to this for a long time. Didn't love it as much as I expected but I still love it a lot, a house classic for sure. THTTD: Probably became my 2nd most fav Cure LP behind Disintegration. I forget how I need to check more from these guys, their comeback last year was really great. Cosmic Messenger: Phenomenal jazz fusion album, love its atmosphere. ILMC: Same. Is 2010's style electronic music becoming trendy again though? I'm happy if it is. Off the Wall: Used to always listen to MJ songs when I was a kid, this is the third LP I listen to from him, took me long enough to get into his LPs. ABABS: Cities Aviv is taking hip hop to another level. Nearly God: Trippy and almost nightmarish. EVO EVO: I was aware of Moe Shop for a long time, checked out their new EP along with one of his older ones. Judging from these 2, he got way better, this EP is better than I expected, great house and future funk stuff. F♯ A♯ ∞: Absolute cinematic experience, one of my most favorite albums and really high up on my list. I do prefer LYSFLATH a bit more thought. Worlds: Extremely nostalgic, all the melodies are burned into my head, another one of my most favorite albums. Asunder: Relistened to it for its 10th anniversary... though I'm painfully late. It is considered one of GY!BE's weaker works but I always loved it and thought it was great. However it truly clicked with me when I relistened to it. Such a beautiful yet underrated and misunderstood album. It's their simplest, most minimalistic and droney work but there's a beauty to it I can't explain quickly here, I wrote a review for it today that you can find on my Rate Your Music and Album of the Year profiles (RYM: CookieMan, AOTY: MrCookiething) Eccojams: Unironically one of the most important albums of the 21st century. Seemingly a goofy little experiment that's almost a joke instead of fading into obscurity resonated with people and sparked the creation of vaporwave. Very surreal and fever dreamish album. Life Changing Moments: C418's works outside of the Minecraft OST are all underrated, it's a great and chill IDM record that turned 15 recently.

I realized I don't need to add long threads to my post to comment on some albums like I usually do and I can just do that on Alt text on the images.
Quebec: Been meaning to listen to this for a very long time, finally did, it's awesome obviously, though I personally prefer The Mollusk. There's tracks here though that are better than ones on The Mollusk. From Filthy Tongue of Gods and Griots: Had listened to Absence before, not entirely sure which of the two I prefer, but man this group is insane. More hip-hop should be more experimental. Canción Animal: Prefer Gustavo Cerati's solo album Bocanada above the 2 Soda Stereo albums I've listened to, it's in my top 50 all time fav albums either way, but these are really great too. 폐점: Phenomenal vaporwave album, didn't expect it to be so good. Quiet Storms: Interesting concept, about a child experiencing heavy weather through TV broadcasts, kinda gives me Boards of Canada vibes for that. Could have expected some more, like for it to get heavier, but it's really great regardless. Hidden Lands: Pretty underrated, love its atmosphere Rainbow: Knew most songs, so pretty much just discovered its deep cuts, a classic. Mid-Air Thief/Bird's Eye Batang/Shadow Community projects: Checked out the rest of his works, great stuff, love glitchy wonky IDM like Flood Format. Sinner Get Ready: Powerful and moving, though I'm not always in the mood for such music. E: Skee Mask does it again like usual telepath album: Prefer the previous 2 from this year, but its great and I love its cover art. Stooges: Like their next 2 LPs more ekkolaptomenos: Like her 2nd LP but more consistent and better executed, reaches the greatness of her 1st LP. Microphones in 2020: Still hits like it did when I first listened to it. His best album imo and in my top 50 all time fav records. Sky Hundred: I realized Parannoul provides not only translated lyrics but also states the meaning of the albums on his bandcamp page. While I already loved his work, discovering that helped me appreciate Sky Hundred so much more, it's genuinely a masterpiece, grew on me so much and it might break into my top 50 albums OAT. Fantasma: Can't explain why or how but this album feels like drinking some fresh cold orange soda. Revolver: The Beatles. Future Days: Best Can album imo, Bel Air is just too good. And all the other tracks slap as well. Piper at the Gates of Dawn: Pink Floyd's my fav band, I love all their stuff but diving a bit deeper into this album I realized that while still whimsical, it's a bit darker than I thought at times. Mid-Air Thief/Hyoo projects: His Hyoo EPs are better than a lot of people say they are, such a great vibe, already a great start to his career. Relistening to the 2 main Mid-Air Thief LPs made me love both way more. Wish I could find translated lyrics for them too.

On this day 10 years ago, We Lost the Sea released Departure Songs. Channeling their grief for their bandmate who took their life, they create a soundtrack that gives purpose to the lives of people, mostly those who sacrificed themselves for greater good. A modern classic of post-rock imo.
