I went to Peter McDonald's funeral today. The eulogy given by his daughter was the finest I have ever heard. The other speaker was John McDonnell MP who had known Peter for 50 years+. He spoke brilliantly, too. He was very moved.

When I was on a leadership course from work (several years ago now!) the speaker said that the holy grail of leadership was "concessionary effort".
#ConcessioinaryEffort is getting people to work for free. Staying late, arriving early, not taking lunch breaks, you know the type of thing.

The report commissioned to look into social care will not be presented until 2028. Under Corbyn a Labour government would have introduced a National Care Service in the way that there is a National Health Service.
