During Paired Maths, we used our collaboration skills to work with a partner to find as many maths routes as possible to the top of the beanstalk. We used directional language such as left and right to help us plan and explain our routes. 🌱➕🧠

This week’s spelling will be revising the words below. Reading books have gone home, with key common words from the text included. There is no homework grid this term as we are focusing on the Reconciliation home learning booklet, reading and spelling words. In class, we will be covering Week 5.

P6/5 worked brilliantly in their teams today during our Slilks Acadamy. They focussed on the skill critical thinking where they evaluated the function of their wind turbine and were able to discuss what worked well and what could be improved 😃

P6/5 were able to apply a variety of meta-skills during their first Skills Academy session. They enjoyed communicating and collaborating during the planning stage of their wind turbine project. They were able to adapt their designs and demonstrate their curiosity and creativity.
