The "foul" that gave them the free kick for their first goal was not a foul in the slightest either. Ref was a disgrace.

When teams press the CBs harder, the full-backs drop deeper and create a shorter option. Also, one of the CMs drops right in front to create triangles with the CBs and FBs. I did notice last night's game was a bit more Route 1 than usual, but Wissa is faster than NW so it didn't surprise me.

I think the team tries to gage how hard the other team presses Schar and Thiaw. If they're not pressing hard, we let Schar especially quarter-back long balls more because he's clam and sees the passes. Those quick transitions, when fed back into the box quickly work well.

True. I don't think "change the manager" is always a positive. I do think the team needs a lift and I'm not 100% sure where that comes from. Could be a new backroom staff, a change in training or tactics, but if Eddie is going to take the team forward, he needs to figure it out.

I don't think it's ever been this bad of a feeling towards him with fans. I think it's totally up to him if he can turn it around too. I hope he can, but sometimes you just hit a stagnation that is hard to recover from without drastic change. Aside, I don't see anyone else coming in and "fixing it".

One issue that often happens with dementia is people can't recognize when/where they're making mistakes. So they think it's all normal, but they may not remember their own birthday or what their home address is (for example). Their brain then just fills in the gaps and it feels real to them.

I'm sure he does. There are times I'm fully on his side, but there are also times where I'm livid he refuses to catch the ball...ever...it drives me nuts lol. I don't think I'd call Ramsdale the best personally, but I think he's plenty good enough. I'd take Pope out of the spotlight if it were me.

I think it's a bit harsh on Pope to try and put too much blame for team's bad form on him, but I also think Dubz when he's in form is one of the best there is. Mixed bag from me, but finding a player for any position that's in top form the whole season is tough. Comp for places should be every pos.

... They also make voting hard enough that only 30-some%of eligible people voted for him and he still won majority and delegates. It's a complete failure of the system (as it's supposed to be anyway), and the opposing party. US needs a voting holiday with better access (plus ranked choice voting+++)

Also, I'm convinced he won just based on the party swing. They've been dumbing down the general population so long they believe everything they see on FB and they just vote party line like Dems are the literal devil...
