But at least his lights are still up and working. I like them, as it gives me just enough light sometimes to be able to make out his shape in the dark of night when I want to check if he is home safe and warm.

A bit later,He got up,went and had a few more bites of food, then returned to his regularly scheduled program of keeping me from getting up and leaving the room. My feral kitty is a snuggler

Once again, he was not here for breakfast, but thankfully by lunch time he was found curled up at the back door.I opened the door and he came in without hesitation. After finishing his lunch, two cans (Sam),he turned and plopped himself down next to me on the floor like this and went right to sleep

It wouldn't have been so worrisome, but he hadn't eaten all day as far as I was aware,it had been raining, and now the temperatures were dropping to freezing.I put a warming pad in his winter bed, and left him a small plate of crunchies, just in case....

Kitty, who would normally be on the plate before I even got the food out of the can,sat several feet away as I placed it down,a full can of tuna, mind you.Kitty turned and quickly skedaddled out off the yard without giving it even so much as a token lick.Never to return......

I could still put the meaning or intention or character's history into the visual even if the film chose to exclude them. Like being privy to a secret code. The experience instilled a want to try and read the book before seeing any visual adaption going forward

Despite flipping through the chapters in my head as the movie played out, knowing what should come next, what's missing or was adapted,I enjoyed the end result. Grateful I had read the book prior. All the minute details that were on the page influenced my enjoyment of what I witnessed on the screen

So I had very little preconceived notions about book to film adaptions.I devoured the book "Misery" in the first week of it's release.Loved it.And was excited to see how those scenes I saw in my imagination would look on the big screen once I learned of the expected film .I was not disappointed.

This movie inspired one of my favorite flyers I made for my theater showing the Rocky Horror Picture Show where I performed as Riff-Raff

Already a huge fan of his work,I was pleased to have discovered this John Gorka's seasonal track. It went immediately on the mix and it's probably one of my favorite holiday songs. And that's coming from someone who generally dislikes this season syrupy sludge.

This one feels so traditional compared to some of the weirdness that I would include on future mixtapes. I've noticed that, from the jump,I unconsciously arranged the songs as if on Side A and Side B of a cassette. With one side being more on the serious song side, while the other welcomes the silly

This first mixtape was done using mostly songs I already had in my collection. Some were taken from a as then recent mixtape a friend had made.A gift which sparked the interest in making one myself, fueled by the fun I had recently by making one for Halloween.

LAMB ! Absolute favorite. I would replace copies of the bible with that book when I traveled and stayed in hotels.
