Thanks mate :) Working with Megadrive palette and limited color count made it super playful. Those colors do blast through the CRT!

Yeah, 30 is the new 24 =) Never really needed more than that.
Sometimes I tweak the speed up to 1.5X speed for walk-run blend anim. Also love the new anim on 2's on top of 60Fps backgrounds approach from sony studios (Spiderverse / Kpop demon hunter). It looks so good on games.
