Football, eh? What a second half! #wba

The very definition of a game of two halves. #wba

Easily one of the worst first-half performances from Albion that I've ever seen at The Hawthorns. #wba

A cynic might think these players are trying to get Mason the boot. #wba

Good to see the players ambling across at their leisure during that injury break. No energy from them. No energy from the coaching team. #wba

Bloody hell. #wba

Once again, a bright start that flatters to deceive. We seem to lack any invention or guile as a team. Individuals show an occasional spark but there's no consistency, connection or end product. The defence looks fragile too, and their vulnerability seems to ripple through the team. Worrying. #wba

Perhaps the Windsors are paving the way for Andrew to be questioned by authorities here and/or in the US. But distancing themselves now, in an attempt to look tough, doesn't alter the fact that Liz, Charles and William did nothing to ensure Andrew helped investigations in the past. #epstein

Dismal second half from Albion. #wba

Griffiths is some shot stopper. Not for the first time this season his saves have secured vital points. Gritty performance all round though. Great result. Boing boing! #wba

All I'm saying is that Dwayne Johnson is a revelation in 'The Smashing Machine'. Great performance.

@herring1967.bsky.social loved the latest RHLSTP episode with Tom Rosenthal. The 'Pilgrimage' series he appears in is superb. The most unlikely bunch of pilgrims who end up being a delight to follow on their journey. The people who pick the cast of that show are geniuses.

Isn't it just dismally predictable that the stories are already about the whinging entitled bloke who didn't get awarded the Nobel Peace Prize rather than the courageous woman who did? #nobel

Griffiths playing a blinder tonight. And good job too. #wba

At @alwaysbecomedy.bsky.social for John Kearns' work in progress show. He's prepping for his 'Tilting at Windmills' tour beginning in February next year. My second time seeing him live and I'm really excited to see what he's working up.

Fat Generals would be a great band name.
Hegseth: "It all starts with physical fitness and appearance. If the secretary of war can do regular hard PT, so can every member of our joint force. Frankly, it's tiring to look out at combat formations and see fat troops. Likewise, it's completely unacceptable to see fat generals and admirals."

'Obstinate'. Odd word. And superfluous in this context. Which makes the decision to use it all the more odd.
Rachel Reeves' dig at Reform: "My patriotism is not measured by how quick you are to exclude, how loudly you shout, how willing you are to exploit every division, but a patriotism measured by our obstinate determination, impatience, and commitment to building a better, fairer Britain." ~AA #Lab25

A great individual goal from Iling-Junior seemed to settle us after barely getting a foot on the ball in the first 10 mins. We're definitely going to need a second though. Leicester are so confident and comfortable on the ball they must surely score. Mavididi having a great game for them. #wba
