It isn’t necessary to quote her ex husband to communicate this same information. She was married to a woman, and yet we elevate her ex-husband to a headline when it wasn’t needed. Feels like every attempt to erase her wife, her relationship.

I’m sorry the City Manager was conveniently out jogging at 3:30am? And confirmed there was “no rain” so then went home, and what.. didn’t respond to any NWS alerts or make any calls of any kind? Then went to work and okay’d a FB post saying the rain was “much needed”?

Bremerton is a blue, engaged city. This kind of turnout to a town hall is not unprecedented in any way.
