Finally thawing out my recently post-PhD brain and went to a book talk by the brilliant Sara Ahmed. Having cited her work extensively in my chapter on the role of Disgust in global policymaking, it was a bit surreal to see her in person.

Accidentally bumping into a Brahmin priest at the start of a puja. The priest had to go bathe again because I was of a caste two rungs lower than his, everything was delayed as a result, and I was yelled at for causing it. I was around 7y.o. Made a hell of an impression + accelerated my atheism.
What is, in your opinion, the dumbest thing you were scolded by an adult for doing when you were a kid?
