Yes it’s bad luck in the goal but we don’t nearly enough to win these games. We’re not good enough to win games repeatedly this season, that’s the hard facts right now.

There maybe more talent in this squad compared to last season but there is nowhere near the same commitment and grit. I used to think these were attributes you gave to lower league teams but I am really missing the Klopp element in this team lately.

Ah man, this team look half- interested. We’re so slow, too easy to dispossess. It’s puzzling, and not tactical. It’s the work rate and attitude that looks missing..

I know that we don’t sack good managers very often and Slot had a brilliant first season, but they were not his players. This is his team and his tactics but he’s clearly failing to coach them, so what comes next?

An incredible and unexpected league title with a rejuvenated Klopp team might be the price we had to pay for this season. This is now a higher quality team of players and grief has played a part for many, no doubt, but Slot needs to prove he’s the real deal, and quickly, otherwise…?

Oh boy, what a mess. 5 defeats from 6 league games is not what any top six team should have. Last seasons players are way off, he’s maybe used too many new ones too soon and there’s no identity. Slot has loads of credit in the bank but he hasn’t handled the new signings very well I don’t think.

I hope Slot can own this one because superior xG doesn’t mean you deserve to win. We have lost 3 league games because we can’t defend and don’t bother turning up until it’s too late. Maybe too many new players + out of form players + tactical shortcomings is too much to absorb at once.
