F1 - even though an inspired film - really enjoyed it!

Highly recommended.

Golf buggy tour after Schindler’s Factory.

Stopped at Apteka pod Orłem, the only pharmacy inside the Kraków ghetto. Pankiewicz risked his life to help Jews and documented what he had seen from the view of the pharmacy.

Also saw part of the ghetto wall and St Joseph’s Church in Podgórze.

The queue outside the Schindler Factory museum was already winding down the street when we arrived but got even bigger by 12pm.

Early / pre booking is advised.

Took these in Kraków today. The haunting empty chairs in Plac Bohaterów Getta (Ghetto Heroes Square).

Each chair represents thousands deported or murdered during the "liquidation" of the Kraków Ghetto in 1943.

Located in the Kazimierz & Podgórze area, across the river from the old Jewish quarter.

Visited Auschwitz.

It’s been 8 years since I was last here but it still hits like a punch to the chest. The scale. The silence. The machinery of cruelty.

Read about Witold Pilecki, the man who volunteered to enter the camp to expose it.

Kogel Mogel in Kraków is the real deal

Velvety veal pierogi slow cooked beef that melts and a knockout dessert with Solaris and raspberry

Michelin level cooking without the fuss

Great times in Krakow exploring the Salt Mine. Last came here in 2017.

Lovely little walk to Hampstead and a brunch at Heath Street Kitchen.

Great time watching Hamilton for the first time in London.

I did wonder the whole time though if back in those days there was an "American" accent and if they pronounced "water" correctly or not back then with a hard "t".

Beautiful location in Oxford near the Cotswolds.

Last day blitz through Brooklyn Bridge, Chinatown and Little Italy.

Took too many photos, ate too much, legs are done in.

Classic tourist behaviour, no regrets (except maybe the third cannoli).

The Groove on MacDougal was top-tier last night. Live music, knockout vocals, and proper energy. One of those nights you don’t plan but ends up banging.

Los Tacos No. 1... we need this in London.

Apparently only 7 in New York with an 8th coming but would have thought this place would have been all over the US.

Highly recommend the Comedy Cellar, caught the 11:55pm show. It’s a late one, but the energy was electric and every comic crushed it. Totally worth staying up for.

Definitely not in a bull market right now.

Picture: Charging Bull represents aggressive financial optimism and prosperity, it’s a symbol of strength, risk-taking, and a booming economy. Meant to embody the energy of a “bull market". New York City, near Wall Street and Bowling Green.

Train to Bowling Green to see the Statue of Liberty and then a look around Brooklyn and Williamsburg.

In the Big Apple! I always find those massive American flags kind of funny, like, there’s this overwhelming sense of pride baked into them that’s almost performative, but still kinda endearing.

New York--here we come again!

This time for fun...

Tesla’s tanking? Doesn’t matter.

Musk just hit $342B and reclaimed #1 on Forbes’ Billionaires List. SpaceX and xAI did the heavy lifting. The empire’s shifting: electric cars down, rockets and AI up.

Would love to see if Google can publicly respond to this @searchliaison.bsky.social

(Also, I imagine this assumes the freelance content was in violation of SRA before)
@searchliaison.bsky.social For SRA: if a site permanently hires a former freelancer, does that writer's previous freelance content become first party? Can it become indexable again?
