This is Acting FBI Director Brian Driscoll. Last Friday he refused Justice Department order to identify & assist in firing all agents involved in Jan. 6 riot cases, He is said to have pushed back forcefully.

I like to say, "if you love birds you should at least tolerate bugs." Looks like there are some flowers missing their insect friends too. 😢

Brighamia insignis, the Hawaiian endemic ʻŌlulu, blooming at the Maui Nui Botanical Gardens. Extinct in the wild since 2019 but now in cultivation, it’s believed its sole pollinator was a now-extinct hawk moth. This has made it impossible for it to reproduce on its own.

One of the hardest things that has come of the last half year into new year is seeing all my childhood heroes in my family and media aging all at once it seems, almost as if the Covid years sped up time, and I was asleep for it. Does anyone else feel this way? #TimeJumps
