I don't know if I really prefer this to a final script. I like the original take on Worminkle, more dialogue, and better screentime for D'Boom, but I also think Boggy B and other Tim's teammates were underutilized and wormholes make a bit more sense.

All in all, the original script is more about Tim specifically and his inner confict at prooving his self-worth and redemption for all mistakes he made along the way.

I'm pretty sure second Origami chapter and Stone Age chapter were swapped in the final game.

I think I prefer the original take on Professor Worminkle; He is more faithful to his appearance in Worms 4: Mayhem, manipulating Tim for selfish reasons. He was also supposed to still be stuck in the Stone Age, which is not acknowleged in the final script at all.

Wild West makes a bit more sense with Sheriff Pete getting more screentime. This is also how I found out what the hell Gary is. In the final game, Pete makes a very brief mention of him, but here, it's made pretty clear that it's the name of his pet sheep.

Crotchet World. Weapon upgrades are obviously related to the carrot shards instead of wormholes and we actually get to see a bit more of Lord Revellus' personality.

After breaking the carrot, Tim is split into four worms. each represented by a different class. There are still few files of them present inside the files, so we know what their looks and personalities would have been like.

Few curious things:
1)This game seems to have planned to recontextualise Worm battles into a fun sport, kinda like what Splatoon does.
2)D'Boom was going to have a bigger role as a mentor figure to Boggy B, Ronny, and Suzette. He also replaces "the" with a d' in his dialogue.

All of the characters appear to be the same as in the final game. However, Tim is the star of this one. Wormholes and Worminkle machines are not present, and its the Crystal Carrot (its graphics are can still be found inside the files) that breaks the multiverse.

In Worms Across Worlds, an entire unused script can be found by datamining the game. As a single person who cares about the story in Worms, this intrigued me... And because it explained a few decisions present in the final game.
