Luckily for us, we got slits. Although, it is a very narrow belt, I think you can ask your dragon why your belt is so small.

I have been in the same position with my foot a few times. Whether my foot has inflammation or the heel/tendon has inflammation I really can't do anything. I wish you the best healing!
