That now retired traffic cop that did all that stuff that annoys the endangering problem group 😉 Member of the TheMPHCollective Transport and Policing Thinktank & butler to 2 very demanding retired greyhounds.
I think you need an Instagram account to do so ?

I can confirm Hawthorn is very good for the heart and arteries. Makes blood flow more freely. Just one bullet in my arsenal of natural, patient driven health care.

Zig zags only apply in the carriageway, kerb to kerb, a part of the offending vehicle has to on or over the lines. In the instance in the piccy you just use a dangerous position offence instead, clearly evidenced and with a potentially higher penalty (up to a discretionary disqualification)

Nextbase and endure the "pot luck postcode hope I get a decent officer" response.
Due to the way Policing all round is suffering with no hope of improvement it's about time road danger offending was given to another organisation along the lines of the "old" VOSA before they got cut to the bone.....

It's something I've been suggesting and arguing for all through my time as a road danger reduction practitioner. By adding a Vehicle Defect Rectification Scheme (VDRS)as used by officers for over 30 years, to the disposal choices of 3rd party reported offences you would reduce demand significantly.

Bridges 👍 over a third of pedestrian #KSI collisions occur within at a crossing controlled area. Underpasses are a literal sh!t magnet and just generate demand.

Yes they'll use the murder strip as an excuse to NFA in the name of demand reduction even though makes no difference to a prosecution given a competent motivated officer actioning. It would fail a test ...the minimum standard required... therefore #S3RTA1988 due cate and attention applies.

Yes make a official complaint.

No problem at all.

Just demand reduction excuses, Policing is broken at the moment all round.

Work smart , not hard 😆 👍

If you report as an RTC there's a lot more work for you and the officers and the end charge would be the same , a S3 Due Care , just an easier way to.present the evidence and get the same result.
March 7, 2025 at 5:07 PM
No keep it as a S3 Due Care.

It is especially as a bicycle is a "carriage" , even more bizarre, it all needs updating and simplifying.
February 15, 2025 at 4:28 PM
Always confusing to some as it centres on the term "vehicle" , if filtering or the overtaking of a bicycle by a "vehicle" evidentially causes potential issues around the safe use of the crossing the relevant due care offences would just be used rather than the legislation intended for vehicles.

Yes that's what we instructed from the start , also enables "victimless" prosecutions where you witness a close pass but are not involved.

Incompetence from the officers dealing...that's all.

Indeed, I'd go for a theory refresher every 5 and practical every 10 with a medical included.
