Just wanted to say that Aqua Teen Hunger Force qualifies for this format and I fully agree with you on everything you said about Sailor Moon! SM being an MotW show is how we got all-timers like Doorknobder, who also would have worked in the exact same way in shows like ATHF or even Venture Bros.
