I'd say the pre-Switch handhelds and arguably the NES check all 3 boxes, but yeah this is mostly accurate. Though I'd argue the Insane gimmicks is fine so long as it ends up benefiting the console like the Wii and 3DS

-Switch 1: Overpriced if you count Wii U ports, gimmicky if you count Labo, passes on games
-Switch 2: WAY too overpriced, a little early to call on games since Switch 1 is still supported, but doesnt rely on gimmicks
