Quirky last story for this year’s collection, but one I enjoyed.
Overall, this year’s collection ended up with the highest average story rating score of any year of the H&O SSAC for me, which is a credit to Kevin Wilson and his thoughtful curation.

I thought it was contemporary, definitely within the last 5 or so years. The hippie and Ginsberg references just felt a little retro, like I see some teenagers today looking to rebel by going way back behind their parents’ youth even.

My friend Lara was so excited that Kevin curated this year’s collection, she’s a big fan of his writing, and I now have a bunch of his works on my TBR…this year’s collection has been consistently strong in my opinion.😎
