So the people causing the shutdown are getting paid. The people keeping the country running don’t.

And Speaker Mike Johnson won’t let the House come back to work. So basically they’re on a paid vacation while Americans miss paychecks.

Well..Doctors sometimes do this..sometimes even just so the health insurance covers the procedure. I actually think thats sometimes justifiable. The insurance companies play their games..

My parents had a condo house in North Hills development in Nassau County when they last lived. Big house but not a mansion. Sold for 1.4 million..but that was a few years ago.

Probably. I honestly don't remember. It is typical of some of the houses around here. But I think our house is bigger. 2,600 square feet..60 by 100 corner house. His might have been like 40-50 by 100 with less square feet.

Jamaica Estates goes back to the 1840s. But it was very small then of course. I even bought a small book that tells its history when I first moved in.

They are just cheaters..helping their side by making things up as they go. I think the Supreme Court is defective in its origin. Because it relies on parties to pick nominees that aren't going to be partisan..which is not possible.
