Husband, dad, Freemason, late GenXer, Jew, unapologetically antiracist and antifascist. Patriots and Red Sox fan. Will always worship The Rolling Stones no matter how old they get.
I just find it hard to believe he’d treat this level of betrayal on such a critical fight as mere respectful disagreement unless it wasn’t a betrayal and he secretly endorsed it. It’s not about putting on a show, but sticking up for those who risked so much for this fight and got NOTHING.

No because if the best thing we can say about him is that he’s a weak leader who can’t hold his caucus together when it really matters, he needs to go on that basis alone.

And if he’s just hiding in his office behind those reading glasses as the narrative is shaped around him, he’s a weak leader.
November 10, 2025 at 4:29 PM
Then he should come right out and say so. Voting against a bill when they don’t need his vote like Collins or Murkowski isn’t good enough. He needs to come out and say the 8 senators have betrayed their caucus and their constituents and the American people.

Or we’ll just assume he brokered a deal.

Yep she’s got more balls than Schumer Dick Durban and Angus King put together
November 10, 2025 at 4:14 PM
I’m mad at all of them but Schumer deserves the most blame because he’s the leader. That’s how it works.

Tagliabue took VERY strong action on concussions he had the league spend millions actively suppressing emerging knowledge of CTE and paid crooked doctors to lie about the nature of brain injures

If it weren’t for the filibuster Joe Biden would have had the most progressive record of any President in over half a century
November 9, 2025 at 2:59 AM
Yes good keep this reactionary windbag blathering about someone else’s country and not how to run our own
November 8, 2025 at 10:00 PM
That’s of no relevance to me seeing as I’m not Christian and don’t care if someone is a sex worker.
November 8, 2025 at 5:45 PM
It’s real but it’s not makeup it’s just a shadow. There’s someone else just inches from his face.
November 8, 2025 at 5:41 PM
Nooooo he’s trying to accuse you of his own hypocrisy

It’s the law they’re fighting to save RIGHT NOW with the shutdown.
November 7, 2025 at 4:55 PM
Okay. Although if you believe that’s the reason why so many members of Congress don’t retire younger, I’d take that bet.
November 7, 2025 at 4:32 PM
Well I guess it’s great that with Congress anybody in that district can choose to try and replace them and that you can knock on doors encouraging people to support those challengers and to come out and vote for them.
November 7, 2025 at 4:07 PM
No I trust a congressional subcommittee tasked with becoming experts in that matter to understand it and write the appropriate bills and then I expect caucus leaders like Nancy Pelosi to whip up the votes to get them passed.

You should stop. Please.
November 7, 2025 at 3:59 PM
I in all seriousness think you need to take a break for a few hours.
November 7, 2025 at 3:56 PM
Was the transit agency subject to a system where all the people could simply vote that “old guard” out?
November 7, 2025 at 3:54 PM
