I love baseball, also am kinda Gay. Voted most adequate person for 2024
The legislature did a housing bill last year, it didn’t really do anything wild, and if anything was the bare minimum. But legislators now use it to deflect and say “what more do you want? We did this big thing!”

Wonder if she realizes legislators don’t really even see the budget till the morning of lmao

And it’s prolly not a stretch to say this decision within her first six months will dictate her chances in 2029
November 15, 2025 at 10:12 PM
She’ll either have to tell Craig and Nick to fuck off and fix Stay. Or she’ll cave and have to either raise taxes or cut programs. There’s no compromise here, either she caves and lets the machine style of budget continue. Or she stands up for herself the the state.

Biggest test will be that first budget. Because assuming she hasn’t seen it already, when she sees it all laid out before her, the hole StayNJ created, that will determine the type of governor she’ll be.

Excuse me…but until January 20th that title still belongs to Phil Murphy

The reformers are gonna fuck em up as it is. But they’ll have a fit that someone not sufficiently Jersey is their colleague (whilst they ignore where the new governor was born)

There is a school of thought that would say having to be amongst some of the incumbents is punishment

Trenton follows one philosophy for sponsorships: what’s most politically advantageous While 3 prime sponsors is generally the norm, they bend the rules and add more if a person needs a boost in an election. If the bill is big enough and they have enough members in need they’ll have 10 primes
November 11, 2025 at 2:31 AM
Well in this case what was done was, the Assembly and Senate bills were merged and the Senate sponsors joined with the assembly sponsors…with Craig first ofc. Very common on things like this

Everyone always says “democrats would be center right in Europe” no, democrats would lose all their seats in Europe and fall under the threshold because they suck at politics and deserve to lose

In my head canon there’s a poor staffer who has like a burner Schumer texts to act out asking the Baileys questions. Like he’s in a meeting and goes “sorry I have to text my friends the Baileys” and it’s some 20 something staffer questioning their choices
