Day 9, opened this morning! I’ll be opening daily from now until Tuesday (travel day).
This is a gorgeous metallic pale pink polish with grey and bronze shimmering in it. I may use this tomorrow when I redo my nails. It will be great in case of chips while we travel.

This is a tasty wine - I’m a fan of blends; they typically don’t make me flush, and I feel like the flavors can be so rich and complex. Unfortunately, I am starting to feel some flushing in my face, so this one might disqualify itself.

Day 4! Opened this morning and have resisted changing my polish to this divine sparkle 🤩 the polish name is Call Me Vixen, and hell yeah this is very vixeny - a deep red with red glitter throughout. PERFECT for so many occasions.

A lovely gold sparkle topper coat named Gold Scattered Holo Taco. I brushed it over the sparkly teal essie polish I’m currently wearing and didn’t notice much, but when I was knitting with my bright craft light on my hands, holy shit the sparkle. Gorgeous!!

Day 7! A Riesling, which is normally too sweet. This had a good flavor, but by the time I finished the mini bottle, my face was on fire. Womp womp.

Day 6! Fanceeeeee label. Pinot noir - good smell, good flavor. I poured only a little bit; I used a face cream earlier today that irritated my skin, and I don’t want to make myself flush from the wine and irritate my face further.

Day 5! Magic Box 2024 Sauvignon Blanc. Fruity smell, lovely fruity flavor. It didn’t make me flush so it’s a keeper! I had half the mini bottle while getting ready for my work holiday party, and now that we are home, I’ll have the other half.

Day 4! BDX Claret Bordeaux, 2023. Good flavor despite being a little drier than I prefer. I will finish this one unless it makes me flush - it’s not good enough to force my way through inflamed cheeks.

Advent calendar the second! Holo Taco sold a mini advent calendar for the first time, and I love their stuff, so I took a chance. Gorgeous packaging!!

Day 2! This was a Pinot noir, so it’s been hanging out on the red (51°F) side of the wine fridge since last night. It’s a Cavalys Pinot Noir from VDNM Vineyards; the back label says it’s from Chile. Pretty wine in my glass; faint/light scent and delightful taste. A+!

I opened door 1 last night to find a rosé wine, so I stuck it in the white (45°F) side of the wine fridge. It is in a plastic bottle with a screw top. It has a pretty peach color in my wineglass; I only poured about half of the bottle because I have things to do this evening.

I am doing a couple of Advent calendars this year! I spent about $100 on a wine advent calendar from Total Wine. My plan is to open the next day’s door each night so I can put the wine in the appropriate side of our wine fridge.
