This does not have a name.

All these kisses
Leave their bruises
She said. She said.
All your touches
Leave their marks
She said. She said.
When you hold me
I stop breathing
She said. She said.
When you leave me
I start healing.
She said. She said.

I hope this finds you

I hope this letter
Finds you. You
Are not lost exactly but
You are lost to me
I hope you know
I see you. I hold
And carry you
To all my places.
You are on my
Shoulders. In my
Heart.
I hope this letter finds you
I hope
You read this
And know this.

So it’s done. Field Notes for the Living and Hymns from a Village is now available on Amazon. I need to upload a newer copy and finish off the paperback version prior to release but it’s done. A shorter volume but the the last took me 30 years ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A great way to fight back against AI taking away work from creatives is to buy art by actual humans.

My husband @mjowen174.bsky.social is very down.
He’s struggling to find any work at the moment.
He’s a brilliant writer and has written for Dangermouse, Private Eye and many more…

If you need a writer have a look at his website and please repost.

Would anyone like to know the title of my next book? It’s a two parter. Part one: poems. Part two: short stories of an other-worldly nature set in the village where I live.
