Inspiring evening of art, poetry and music at Perth art gallery. Part of Perth festival of the arts. It was lovely to hear doric @vavapoetry.bsky.social a wee touch of home! A few new poems for the classroom and already collaborating with PT of art on creating our own version at school!

The sunshine has meant some garden reading. Half way through ‘Babel’. Absolutely loving it! A must for any linguaphile.

I’m almost finished this one. Some historical fiction with lots of female voices.

Went to Perth Cinema to see this tonight. It was brilliant, sooo funny and camp. I feel Oscar Wilde would’ve approved.

My day of culture continues with a date with Mr Tennant!

P3 has to do a talk about castles- we’ve gone with a local choice of Huntingtower. We had a brilliant morning exploring, learning about the leap, spotting the green man. Thanks to the staff- Yvonne, I think! Who answered all our questions and has inspired us to get a membership.

Still blowing a hollow, but it did mean we had a Bonnie rainbow earlier today.

Woke up to this! Kids and dog are delighted!
