Yep, I don't understand that mentality. You don't lose access to the game and nothing changes if others get to play the game as well on other platforms.

Great to hear as the constant back and forth on these "fetch quests" are really killing and otherwise great and unique experience for me!
Hope they do another "Director's Cut" once they port to other platforms as I'd love to play the definitive version of DS2!

Oh good to know! I'm liking the story and overall ambiance of the first game but the gameplay is perhaps the least favorite part for me so far... Great to hear about the improvements. Thanks!

This is one of the least favorite parts of Death Stranding for me... that and the multiple fetch quests. Was hoping they improved a bit on that on DS2 but seems like its about the same then?

Yikes.. Hopefully that plays better than how it looks as that kind of reminded me of the Pokémon open world games. Barren and kind of awful looking.
