Star-based rating systems are bad because 5 stars is often seen as the default, when 3 stars should be the norm in a 5-star scale—1 or 2 for subpar experiences, 4 or 5 for great ones. Instead, we should switch to a simple binary system: “This was great” or “This wasn’t great.” #Ratings #Feedback
