I hear you... the training, funding and organizations that allow for such work are part of the problem and so without acknowledging the role of social work in reproducing unfavorable conditions- the whole thing exists as a wheel that turns rather something that makes way for a real shift

As a lifetime social worker in justice reform leadership (really upper middle management in an org but head of social services in my building) I think it's important to search and find ways to functionally subvert the powers that be and the system at large to make way for concepts of change
