I wrote in too. My mum said even if I won there was no way she was letting me go to hang around with ‘god knows who‘ in some TV studio’. I thought, loudly no doubt, that this was very unfair. Miss her. She was smarter than I gave her credit for.

I like to imagine Sadiq Khan woke earlier to the news with a wry little smile.

My husband and I once described the “invalid carriage” to our daughter in law who first thought we were having her on, and then could hardly believe her ears. Unsafe, and undignified. Anderson should (but won’t) be ashamed.

Sandringham is privately owned by the King. There may be fair arguments about how those riches came to be of course, but nonetheless it’s a clear break from ‘the crown’ (us) housing or financing him. I’m pleased with that.

Wondering who, err, spilled the beans. There’s a key of symbols in the diary? He told someone? Somebody snooped on his personal habits and in his journal? Really curious now!

I don’t think I’m projecting too much here to be pretty sure if QEII had the chance to pop back for a state occasion it wouldn’t be this one.

I fell in love with the dog bathroom and showed it to my husband. He pointed out that our dog hates baths and if we made one she would never even go in the room let alone the bath. He’s so right and I’m sad.

Thank you for facing this and showing everyone.

Yes! This! I can’t remember it even crossing my mind that other women at my wedding might ‘outdo’ me. Not from vanity, but because I was just pleased to see everyone and assumed OH and I were as centre stage as we cared to be. I thought that was ‘everyone’s’ view, before SM.

Apologies - confused by the gif and didn’t see it.

Yep. It’s never right to tar an entire group with the brush of the bad actors. Oh, unless it’s a group of older women then it’s game on.

A mother in law writes, “They” being “a small number of strange women” of course.

Slightly fewer than he’s slept with, but in recent years the ratio has inverted.

I mean, multiple times a day? He needs medical help. My late FIL ate around a small area of sandwich held between his fingers then discarded that bit. But everyone found that very odd.

Or evidence, if she exists, that she was a bra fitter or did more than enquire if they needed assistance.

To be honest, things are so grim generally that I find it quite relaxing to focus on this instead.
