I'm a bit late tonight, had to work late, but the board meeting started on time and they're in the middle of in-person student comment now. Apparently there are 100+ in-person comment cards that have been submitted. They probably won't get to everyone. Please respect the 1-minute time limit!

UESF Educators at GWHS came out today at lunch to show some support for our first day of bargaining! It definitely helped me get through a long night of passing proposals to SFUSD's bargaining team.

Here was my comment at tonight's SFUSD Board of Education meeting. The cuts they're discussing are terrifying and students and communities are going to be harmed if they go through. We need more funding for public education!

They approved the new position regardless of the many public comments expressing concern about it.
