I was taking a US Political History course in undergrad when this happened, and we had class that day. Even in Canada, we felt like we were at a funeral. I nearly cried.

Honestly, who is the baby here?! Even if that relative thinks it’s nonsense, what a tiny price to pay it is to hold a precious new life to simply slip on a mask. If there was a newborn in my family, I would put on a full CSI suit to hold it, if that’s what the parents wanted!
