Ironic. This is so emblematic of all that is wrong with capitalism and its culture of corporate primacy. That it is tied to student loans and “defrauding” banks is about as iconic of the current political climate as one can get.

He was impeached *twice* last time and still maintained power. Was convicted of a felony and still won reelection.

He doesn’t need approval anymore, the damage is done.

Which is exactly why they are trying to deny access to those who are “other”.

Also, when people lack critical thinking skills they are easier to manipulate.

If you don’t use your platform to speak truth to power in a venue that’s just been taken over, what’s the point? If you just walk away from the table because you are unhappy that they are trying to erase your voice, you’ve just agreed to let that happen.
