I make no apologies for getting up before the sun, running to stand in line for 45 minutes for a ride that takes only three. For spending the whole day in the sunshine while getting 20,000 steps in for three days straight. For getting overpriced food and buying merch I will wear only there.

Being a #DisneyAdult seems to many people as a completely immature, weird, escapist hobby. And there’s the point: escapist. I am so emotionally and mentally drained by everything I can’t control immediately, that the trip my husband and I took without the kids last weekend to #WDW was lifesaving.
