On January 6, 2021, the nation watched as chaos unfolded in the heart of its democracy. Donald Trump was still in office, armed with the authority to invoke the Home Rule Act and command the very forces meant to protect the Capitol. Yet when criminals acted in his name, the silence was deafening.
