It’s interesting to see how the art styles have shifted over the years.
A lot of neurodivergent people detest the idea of masking at all. I agree that while it doesn’t usually feel good, sometimes it is necessary for everyone’s (NDs included) physical and emotional safety.

Also, don’t just offer platitudes. “You’re important as a person” is an empty statement. Make the effort to get to know them as individuals.

As a big, I love being needed. I love seeing littles’ (particularly @personalias.bsky.social’s) needs met. But I really, really love knowing that *I* was the one to provide that.
